Late Night Walks

I love going on late night walks. But I absolutely hate being alone. So my mother accompanies me from time to time. We share good laughter and long discussions on our personal lives. We get to gain back the time lost during the day to connect with each other better. I absolutely love it when the breeze slaps my sweaty face and I am almost out of breathe. But I know my body and mind is happy. That's the therapy work a simple walk does and at free of cost.

I am fortunate that I live in a vicinity which is quite spacious. The walking track is a good 5 km long stretch with road inclination in certain parts. Climbing up and down on this track helps in working out of thigh muscles and leg calves. On a good day, we take around two rounds. On a bad day or incase of unexpected emmergency's one round. I tried doing one or two sets of squats, boy oh boy, I cried and then I lied down. But it felt good in my muscles.

When I am walking,I get a lot of time to reflect on my day and life. I feel this energy to start over again from my past mistakes, make decsions and plan things out more clearly.

There's surely a lot of 'retrospection' going on.
As lord Orry said: " I am working very hard, but on myself." It's time we should all do so. But in the process, we shall not be self-obssessed. Take care of those around you along with yourself. Just because you've had a miserable day/week/month/year doesnt mean you give others an equally difficult time. I guess now I know why old madwadi uncles go on walks with their families post dinner.

Do you all like going on late night walks? If yes, do you guys live in Mumbai? Hit me up! We shall stroll on the roads of Mumbai. Who will stop us?

Huzzah!
